Pick Your Teams Now!

Registration Deadline: April 5, 2008

During the regular season, the scores of each game played will be recorded using a table like the sample below.  The dates in columns 0-16 refer to the first date the team scored 0-16 runs regardless of win or loss.  Also tracked will be the number of times the team reaches 13+ points and their highest score.  The final column, POINTS, lists the points each team "earned" in this contest which is explained below.

Each player will choose six teams from the league.
The object is to pick the six teams who you think will have the most combined POINTS on this table at the end of the regular season.

POINTS are award to teams as listed belowed
For each of the columns 0-16 the team receives 1 point.
Any team that fills out all columns 0-16 receives 5 points.
The first team to fill out all columns 0-16 receives an  additional 5 points.
(Should two or more teams be the first to fill out their columns on the same day, each team will be awarded the 5 additional points.)

At the end of the regular season, bonus points will be awarded.
5 points for the team(s) that have the most 13+ games
3 points for the team(s) that have the highest Hi Score
3 points for the team(s) that have the lowest Hi Score

Playoff Round
At the end of the regular season, the players with the top 8 total POINTS will be entered into the Playoff Round.  The 8 teams entering the playoffs will be randomly assigned to the players in the Playoff Round. Only 8 players will be entered into the Playoff Round.  If there is a tie for the last position(s) the following tie-breakers will be used to narrow the players down to the eight.
Player with the most total 13+ games
Player with the highest Hi Score
Player with the lowest Hi Score
Coin Toss

In the Playoff Round, games will be recorded with columns for 0-6 runs and a column for 7+ runs which will contain the first date the team scores 7+ in a game, not the total games scoring 7+.  Hi Score will also be tracked.  The same scoring for the POINTS apply to the Playoff Round, except there are no points awarded for number of games scoring beyond a certain number.  In the event of a tie in the Playoff Round, ties are broken by the highest Hi Score, then the lowest Hi Score, then if needed the regular season total SCORE for the player.
